I just bought an intervalometer for long exposures.  That’s a device that allows you manually control the beginning and end of an exposure on your camera.  It arrived just in time for the holiday fireworks.  This was the first time I was able to try out my new gadget.  It was a lot of fun to try to anticipate the timing of the fireworks without overexposing the bright lights.  I thought this image looked like something from a Dr. Seuss book.
