Bethlehem Walkabout

I’ve been very lucky to have great teachers who have helped me develop my skills as a photographer. I’ve taken many classes at Dan’s Camera City. Each year, the staff at Dan’s offers classes from Creative Photo Workshops. These are run by 2 Australian photographers named Shelton Muller and Glynn Lavender. Their teaching style is very informative and entertaining. You learn by doing. I’ve taken just about every class they have offered in the last 2 years. These classes have been invaluable to me as a photographer. Today, I spent the afternoon with Shelton & Glynn on the Bethlehem Walkabout. We had a model, but we were also shooting interesting faces that we found as we roamed the streets. I plan to try more street photography this summer. Now I have some techniques to help me interact with people and get some great photos in the process. This fellow was walking around downtown, and the next thing you know, he was posing for us!
