I love the way you can see the structure of the flower and the leaves in this infrared image.  Sunflowers have been thought of as symbols of courage by Native Americans.  Many Impressionists were inspired by the sunflower.  Today, it is often used to represent warmth, loyalty, and longevity.  These flowers definitely make me smile.
