Today was my first trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show! The theme was Hawaii, one of the destinations on my bucket list. It was incredible to see all the creative displays and gorgeous flowers. I can only imagine the planning that goes into this event. Waldor Orchids built an entire volcano and thatch hut where Hawaiian dancers and drummers performed traditional dances based on the legend of the Kilauea volcano. Jerry & I enjoyed a delicious lunch at McCormick & Schmicks downtown, and the unseasonably warm 70+ degree temperatures. It was a fantastic day.
