Since she was 4 years old, Elysia and I have been taking trips into New York City.  We usually see shows of some kind.  Today we saw Bring it On, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tom Kitt, and Amanda Green and book by Jeff Whitty.  Elysia is a big fan of In the Heights, which was also written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.  We have been eagerly awaiting the chance to see his new show.  This show had a lot of energy and incredible production numbers.  We both loved it.  For the rest of the day, we enjoyed sightseeing and dining on Godiva chocolate, Japanese food (Bolla Egg!), and cheesecake.  One of my favorite buildings in New York City is the Grace Building at 1114 Avenue of the Americas.  I love to photograph the sweeping curved lines that seem to go on forever.  Here’s my latest image.
